Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend Names Marjorie Boudreaux as 2025 Superhero
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Young Professionals of the Coastal Bend (YPCB) is proud to announce Marjorie “Guardian of Good” Boudreaux, Chief Operating Officer of Goodwill Industries of South Texas, as the recipient of our 2025 Superhero Award—YPCB’s highest honor.
Each year, YPCB selects one extraordinary individual who exemplifies selfless service, tireless leadership, and unwavering dedication to the Coastal Bend community. Past honorees have been champions of change and advocates for growth, earning superhero monikers like Dr. Kelly “Captain Marvelous” Miller, “Spider”-Ben Molina, Casey “The Amplifier” Lain, Brad “Aquaman” Lomax, and most recently, Debbie "The Flash" Noble.
This year, YPCB introduces an exciting new tradition: the YPCB Superhero will now be recognized alongside the Corpus Christi Under 40 (CCU40) Honorees, making this award even more prestigious. As such, the recipient must also be a past CCU40 honoree—someone who continues to inspire well beyond the initial recognition.
Marjorie Boudreaux, a 2013 CCU40 honoree, began her career rooted in the nonprofit sector when she joined Goodwill in 2010 as Director of Marketing & Communications. Now as Chief Operating Officer of Goodwill South Texas, she oversees Donated Goods Retail and Business Services, leading more than 700 employees and managing a $40 million social enterprise that funds mission programs across the region.
She is a proud alumna of Leadership Corpus Christi and a dedicated member of the Rotary Club of Southside Corpus Christi. She has been a hands-on member of several organizations, but most notably when she served as co-chair of the 2015 CCU40 celebration.
“This year’s Superhero has spent her career uplifting the Coastal Bend, especially through her work at Goodwill, where she’s climbed the professional ladder with grit and grace,” said YPCB President Angie Romero. “As our ‘Guardian of Good,’ Marjorie has never stopped showing up—for community and for YPCB.”
Marjorie will be officially recognized at the 2025 CCU40 Brunch Celebration on Friday, August 15, at the American Bank Center. The event will also commemorate the 2025 CCU40 Honorees.
